Statement of Needs:
Bosodong is in Terekeka County of Central Equatoria State; it is bordering Jonglei state to the North and Lakes State. The Payam hosts more than 8000 IDPs from Jonglei state who fled due to armed conflict, which broke out in December 2013. According to IDPs, they arrived on 26/12/2013 in one of the islands called Wunror/Malual of Gemeiza County but proceeded to Tombek Payam on 8/1/2014 and arrived 25/1/2014.
PURPOSE and DISCRIPTION:
This project aims to support the community of Bosodong village to build two primary schools in the district.
Since the perception of the new country, South Sudan, this community has no single school in the entire village as most of the children, such as the young boys, are involved in animal rearing while girls in domestic roles. The only friendly space we could find is a small open hut of 30’x60’ sq. ft. used for prayers by Episcopal Church Congregation. We are talking about families in a primitive society with 100% illiteracy.
Currently, we are looking to build two primary classrooms for grades 1 and 2, with a capacity of 36 students in each class.

⦁ Education will give the children of Bosodong a broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the proper foundation for future generations and peacebuilders in the region.
⦁ It will have a long-term positive effect on individuals, the community, and their Payam,
⦁ Education will reduce the poverty cycle, inequality, and social exclusion that affects all countries.
⦁ Education will bring peace to neighboring communities.
